Here are some sites that are helpful for practicing Spanish outside of class: they include everything from virtual flashcards to games and audio activities. These sites can also be used for other subjects. Have fun exploring!
Study Spanish: This site has online reviews, quizzes, tests, and audio samples that allow students to practice and quiz themselves in various areas of Spanish grammar and vocabulary.
Quia: Users can search this site for various Spanish activities: Memory, Quizzes, Hangman, Battleship... even a Jeopardy-style challenge board game! Including your textbook name can help you find specific vocabulary and grammar from our units. You may want to use Quia to search for activities for OTHER subjects, too.
Quizlet: This site allows users to create digital flashcards with their own vocabulary, or drill the vocab entered by others. Also, users can play some fun interactive games or take quizzes to practice with vocabulary. Technically, this can be used for any subject. If your computer has a microphone, some tasks include a spoken option where you can say your answers into the mic.
Spanish: This site allows for users to interact with basic vocabulary and grammar terms in the form of games and online tests. It not only provides pictures and the Spanish word, but it will also read the vocabulary term aloud. It is quite fun! www.spanishspanish.com
